General Rules
Do not Insult Users with Swears
- Basically any swear is allowed as long as it's appropriate, not used to insult, and not the F-word.
No insulting other users
- Most moderators won't find this to be such a big deal if it's a pretty minor insult.
- NO creating threads that attack and/or insult other users, even if minor or a joke. The exception to this is if the user is okay with it.
- If you created an attacking thread and meant it as a joke, but the user being attacked still doesn't like it, close it yourself. Don't wait for a moderator.
Be appropriate (PG+13)
- Mods can be a bit lenient on this, but try to keep it somewhat clean. We won't ban you for talking about boobs, for example. ( At least in most cases. )
- Saying the word "porn", or discussing pornography is not allowed.
No online dating
- Keep the online dating in Messages and out of public sight.
- Flirting is fine, and most of the time it's always a joke anyways.
- Online dating in the roleplaying forum is fine; so long as it is roleplay. ( That's all you should be doing in there anyways. )
Do not spam or double post
- Obviously, this means no posting a bunch of useless messages or threads.
- Posts such as "hi", "hahahaha", etc. are counted as spam most of the time. Exceptions are usually when replying to someone.
- Double posting is when you type two posts in a row. If you need to add something else and you are still the last poster, edit your post; do not make another until someone else does.
Do not bump a thread after 30 days of no activity
- Do not post on a thread if there has been no post in the last 30 days.
- Don't intentionally bump threads that haven't hit the 30 day limit, and if you are, at least make it not noticeable. ( What I mean is don't bump a thread by saying "bump". Make a normal post. Bumping is considered rude. )
- If you want to bump your thread that hasn't hit the 30 days limit, and are the last poster, don't. This breaks the double posting rule still. You'll have to deal with it.
Do not share links or images that are unsuitable for all ages
- Also TRY to not mention the name of a unsuitable website. It won't kill you if you do, but just don't.
Do not share your, or another user's personal information
- First, middle, and last names are okay to share.
Do not give a user your password under any circumstances
- We can't retrieve your password if you give it to someone and they change it, especially if you used a fake email.
Do not encourage other users to break rules
- Don't try to get people banned, or start bandwagons that break rules.
Use common sense
- It's nearly impossible to list every single thing allowed and not, so just use common sense.
- If you think something will break a rule, don't post it.
Thread Creating Rules
No Useless Threads
- Threads such as "I'm new!" and "Hi!" are considered useless.
No reporting to moderators/admins by creating a thread
- Use PM's for this, or report the post with the report option under the settings icon on the post.
Try to stay on topic with the thread/board
- We know that's what you guys do worst, but try to stay on topic with the original post. The only exception is if the original poster changes the focus of the thread, or if you're making a thread in the Miscellaneous board.
